Mitron App, a Tik Tok clone is now available on play store after fixing its vulnerability issues. The Mitron app was violating Google play policies. Google said Mitron violated its “Spam and Minimum Functionality” policy, but later they had clarified that tech giant working with the developers to fix the issues in the Mitron app
On June 2 Google has removed the Mitron app from Google Play claiming that its policy doesn’t allow apps that offer ‘the same experience as other apps already on Google Play.’ The policy reads, “Apps should provide value to users through the creation of unique content or services.” It also states that the app should provide a “basic degree of functionality and respectful user experience.
The Mitron app was not an Indian app it was purchased from Pakistani app developers and uploaded on Google play store without making any major changes. Mitron app was claiming itself as Indian made application and due to anti-China and anti-TikTok sentiments, the Mitron app got benefits and more than 5 million downloads in a few days.
