Samsung has started rolling out it’s Android 10-based One UI 2.1 for Samsung Galaxy S9 series with the June 2020 security patch. According to the Samsung Galaxy S9 series users in Korea, they had started receiving the latest One UI 2.1 update. Samsung Galaxy S9 series of smartphones were already running on the One UI 2 and now they had got the latest One UI 2.1 update. These Smartphones were debuted in 2018 with the Android 8.1 Oreo.
As per a screenshot by a Samsung Galaxy S9 user in South Korea, the One UI 2.1 over-the-air (OTA) update carries the firmware G960NKSU3ETF4. According to the reports from the mobile indicates that users in Germany are getting the firmware version G96xFXXU9ETF5. The latest One UI 2.1 update is 896.15MB in size and carries the June 2020 Android security patch.
The latest update is added with lots of enhanced features and which helps in improving the overall system of Galaxy S9 phones Smartphones. There is also a screenshot added on the Samsung Community page which highlights various upgrades such as AR Zone that puts all augmented reality features such as AR Emoji and AR Doodle in one place.
The Uses will also receive the Quick Share and Music Share features that allow users to share files instantly. The Gallery app and Keyboard app on Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ are getting new organizational features.
The latest Android 10-based One UI 2.1 update is currently available in limited regions and details about its India availability are expected soon.
